Road closures on Golte due to the cycling race Tour of Slovenia

We would like to inform you that on Saturday, 7 June 2025, Golte will host the queen stage (Stage 4) of the prestigious cycling race Tour of Slovenia. Due to the event, there will be changes to traffic regulations, which must be observed to ensure the safe and smooth execution of the race

Restricted access from the Alpine garden area to hotel Montis**** will be closed starting from Thursday evening, 5 June, until Saturday, 7 June, around 6:00 p.m.  

Road closures on race Day – Saturday, 7 June 2025

• 09:00 a.m. –5:00 p.m., full road closure to Golte from Weiss Inn (formerly Vid) onwards. Only race organizer vehicles will be allowed. Bicycles may use the road except during the arrival of the race caravans.

• 10:50 a.m.–12:20 p.m.*
  No access to the lower cable car station.
  Road closure: Rečica ob Savinji – Radegunda – Golte due to the recreational event My Tour of Slovenia.

• 2:00 p.m.–2:50 p.m.*
  No access to the lower cable car station.
  Road closure: Rečica ob Savinji – Radegunda – Golte due to the main event Tour of Slovenia.

Please note that additional road closures will be in effect throughout the day on other parts of the race route.

Cable car operating hours:

• Friday, 6 June: 2:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. (every full hour)
• Saturday, 7 June: from 7:30 a.m. (every full hour or more frequently if needed)
• Sunday, 8 June: 9:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. (every full hour)

For visitors: join us for the fan event and live viewing of the Tour of Slovenia stage on Golte. You can arrive on foot or by cable car. On race day, cable car tickets are 50% off and available through the WebShop
